BamVolea Ciudad de la Raqueta Returns to Professional Padel: Madrid Once Again Hosts Elite-Level Padel

BamVolea Ciudad de la Raqueta has officially kicked off the FIP Bronze tournament of the CUPRA FIP Tour 2026.
A tournament made possible thanks to the support of our partners and the Madrid Padel Federation.
The organization of the event has been made possible thanks to the convergence of two key factors: the support of a strong group of sponsors and the committed backing of the Madrid Padel Federation (FMP).
The organizers would like to specifically highlight the role of Bullpadel, MejorSet, Mondo, CUPRA, Mahou 0.0, Quirónsalud, HEAD, Refeel, Loomis Pay, MSC, Silbon, and Pádel Nuestro, whose involvement has been instrumental in bringing this tournament to life.
For its part, the Madrid Padel Federation emphasized its excitement at once again hosting a professional padel tournament in the Community of Madrid after several years without one. For BamVolea Ciudad de la Raqueta, this tournament is more than just a sporting event—it is a testament to the quality of its facilities and its organizational expertise, both of which meet the standards required by the international circuit.
Wild Cards Awarded to the Top Players in the Madrid Ranking
One of the most significant announcements for local players is the wild card allocation system. Entries will be awarded based on players’ positions in the regional ranking, with priority given to competitors from the Community of Madrid in the Open categories.
This means that Madrid’s top players will have the opportunity to compete on home soil against international-level opponents, earn valuable FIP ranking points, and gain greater visibility on the professional circuit—without the need to travel abroad.
Strong Attendance Expected Throughout the Week
BamVolea Ciudad de la Raqueta’s proven track record in hosting major sporting events points to strong attendance throughout the six days of competition. Its extensive experience organizing high-level tournaments, Madrid’s excellent accessibility by train, bus, and car, and the event’s timing alongside other major competitions all suggest a week of packed courts and a vibrant, world-class tournament atmosphere.
Playing conditions will be on par with those of any major national tournament, with all the minimum infrastructure required by the FIP Tour fully in place, along with any additional facilities and resources needed to meet the specific demands of the event.
Nearly 2,000 Youth Academy Players: The FIP Bronze as a Springboard
